Thank you
Hi everyone ,
Thank you for voting , especially the ones that are unaffected but are still supporting . I just wanted to reply to a comment a lovely lady has asked . Whilst I’m all for public transport and green air , personally I have a company car so this car is given to me to do my job , I will then have nowhere to park my car ; I’m not asking for a parking permit for a guaranteed space , the council are not allowing us to even apply for a parking permit at all so all of the hundreds of people in these “car free developments” that have cars will have no choice but to either park there and get fined or park somewhere else miles away from their home / or in a public multi story car park where we pay for a season ticket . It also means , people with parking spaces and no cars in other properties along abbey road are charging us over £200 to rent a parking space from them, profiting on our misery ! It’s just not ok . What also worries me is how will that impact our car insurance policies, how will that impact our safety getting to and from the car , especially women and mothers having to walk through a park, and with their children in the cold winter months . The implications that will be a result of lack of safety on their decision to enforce this has not been considered . I hope this helps.
