I tried and tried to create a new account but was denied. Even if I were able to do it with a different device, phone number, email, address and slightly different name…FB will quickly ask for a government ID and a selfie. If the ID says Sheldon and you enroll as Shel, you’ll be deleted. Just no point, I need to be legit. I have never been able to communicate about this with Facebook to let them know I was hacked and did nothing wrong. They don’t even know I was hacked! The lawyer (who shall remain nameless) did nothing, then totally ghosted me after I sent a couple of low-key texts saying things like, “I’m really looking forward to an update on the case…Any news?” DOES ANYONE KNOW AN ATTORNEY WHO HAS SUCCESSFULLY SUED FACEBOOK? Doesn’t matter where they’re located in the US. OR…is there an animal-loving lawyer out there willing to take the case pro bono and TRY? Money is tight since the hackers got so much, and I am still helping when I can and cannot ask for donations…I can and will pay though. PLEASE SEND CONTACT INFO FOR POTENTIAL LAWYERS!!! I am broken-hearted, but my spirit is by no means broken…and I will not be a victim and concede my last life mission to this idiocy! I founded an organization a few months back, but didn’t have a chance to launch it. Shel’s Angels is being designed to find new ways to fill some of the bigger gaps in rescue efforts in our area as a nonprofit. I’m excited about it and working hard, but it will be much easier and more effective if I have access to FB and Messenger! Staying flexible and trying to find my way in tough times.
