As someone who lives in the Port Credit and Brightwater community, I’ve seen how quickly Coffee at Carltons has become part of the neighbourhood since opening in May 2026. It’s more than somewhere to grab a coffee- it’s become a place where people connect.

Port Credit is at its best when we have local spaces that bring people together, and Coffee at Carltons has brought new life to the Brightwater Experience Centre. It’s become somewhere neighbours meet, people work or catch up over coffee, and local artists and community members have a space to connect and share what they do.

Losing Coffee at Carltons would mean losing one of the few gathering places that has naturally become part of the community. It also brings people into Brightwater, creates foot traffic, and contributes to the kind of lively, connected neighbourhood that the development is meant to create.

Keeping Coffee at Carltons open isn’t just about supporting one local business. It’s about keeping a space that has already become meaningful to the people who live here.

Please join us in asking Dream to keep Coffee at Carltons open and preserve a place that has become an important part of our community.
