From the depths of my heart, I want to thank every single person who stood beside my family during the most painful chapter of our lives. To those who donated, signed the petition, shared Deonte’s story, and prayed for justice — your love and support have carried us through unimaginable darkness.

 

Because of our collective strength and persistence, justice is finally in motion. Those responsible for my brother’s senseless and malicious killing are being tried as adults and face serious charges. This is only the beginning, but it is a powerful reminder that our voices matter and that unity can create change.
