� � Hello supporters!! If anyone could show their support by standing with us on Feb.5th for an in person trustee meeting and Feb.20 for decision day regarding the boundary change - it would mean the world!! Our Community has been very actively working together to oppose the Vincent Massey Boundary Review. In preparation for the Feb 5th Meeting of the School Board Trustees Standing Committee, where they will review input from the community, some community members would like to arrange for a show of presence at the meeting.  First with a Rally outside the board office, then to sit in on the meeting.

Location:    Durham District School Board.   400 Taunton Road East,  Whitby, ON 
Date / Time:   Monday Feb 5th, 2024.    Rally outside from 6-7pm, meeting inside from 7-8 pm. 

If it does not currently affect you, it could one day, no matter your Durham town/city. The DDSB have come up with an incredibly flawed plan to move our kids - and it could be your kids school in the future. The poor planning for additional schools, extensions, lack of portable orders, is board wide. The trustees and directors and boundary committee either take weeks to get back to us or simply do not respond to emails and direct questions in their dissapointing virtual webinars. Are we not paying them to do their job properly?? They are failing to do so. 

Community ties matter and plucking established and thriving children from one school to another - double the distance away to another community, will have detrimental effects on their well being. There are other solutions , we just need to be heard AND the alternative solutions need to be looked into! � �
