There will be a Virtual Town Hall this Tuesday May 13th from 2-3pm EST.
The event will be held via Zoom.
All alumni should have received an email with a Registration Link (near the bottom of this announcement). I believe it was sent out on Thursday (5/8). Please register to receive login information, which will be sent prior to the event.
Due to zoom capacity, this is a closed event for Dartmouth alumni. Registration is limited and will close at the start of the event.
The email notification indicated this would be a Q&A session, but you have to input your question on the registration form. Most likely, it will not be a true "town hall", so questions are screened in advance. It may be prudent to take a screenshot of your question in the event you want to keep track of what you asked at a later time.
If you have the ability to attend the zoom meeting, we strongly urge you to do so. This is most likely the only way a majority of alums will actually be able to hear from President Beilock and upper Admin what they are actively engaged in regarding protecting Academic Freedom and Free-Speech and how that "squares" with the requests from alumni, faculty, etc.
If you have been following the statements from the Administration as well as any information disseminated from last week's Alumni Council meeting, this will give you another opportunity to "grade" Dartmouth on its response to the incursions of the federal government.
We are keeping the Alumni Petition Up and Running. Let's see if we can hit 3,000 signatures! We continue to urge you to share and disseminate information so we can keep amassing signatures of concerned alumnae/i.
