CUNY did in fact update their Anti-discrimination policy in July 2024. I know this because a copy was issued to me via a NYS FOIL request. At some point between that time and February 2025, CUNY rolled its policy back to a 2012 version that's FAR less comprehensive. The reason for this is unclear, but I speculate that this decision was made to acquiesce to Donald Trump's orders to eliminate DEI initiatives. Could it be more disgusting? We must demand accountability for this vile action.
