Dear Grand Valley Citizen, 

We are empowered by the outpouring of support in under one week, thank you!

If you can make the time, Please come make your voices heard by participating in tomorrow's City Council meeting (5/21) at 5:30. Find the sign in sheet to speak during the public comment period in the beginning. This is not on the agenda but there is value in sticking around for a bit after.

If your schedule doesn't allow, emailing your thoughts to council@gjcity.org is also useful, but it is more impactful for them to see you and hear your thoughts.

Come share your input, and feel free to discuss the impact of the 4th and 5th st rollbacks and how they will negatively impact pedestrians and cyclists. Please remember to keep the discussion focused on the data-driven facts, and avoid unnecessary rage-baited debates. As members of this community, remember to hold our local officials accountable and demand transparency. We hope to see you tomorrow!

Finally, it's been great to see people promoting the petition by donating to change.org, but it hasn't resulted in many additional signatures. Moreover, those donations are not sent to GVSA.  Please continue to share this with your friends and neighbors.
