Wednesday Wind down

We are celebrating our petition today. We have now received signatures from 12 of the 15 Candidates.  Please be sure and scroll the image above to see all of the names.  I will also list them here,
Jennifer Naperala, Dan Rosinski, Santiera Brown-Yearling, Ozan Duran, Gayle Gilmore, Janelle St Louis, Brandy Deel, Todd Mayfield, Amanda Newins, E.J. Jefferies, Eric Wray, and George Yacus. It has been a little over 2 months since we started this petition. I applaud all who helped, signed, shared and paid to promote this petition.  Also a big thank you to the Candidates that signed. I know that it was a hard ask, but you read the room and have done what the Citizens of Chesapeake were asking you to to do.
I am calling this a victory for the residents of Chesapeake. It appears that we will have a majority of anti- Data Center development on the next Chesapeake City Council! The 3 Chesapeake City Council Candidates who have thus far not signed, Nichelle Buffalo, Clayton Spruill and Daniel Whitaker will have until tomorrow,  9/17/2026 at 8pm, to get on board. We would to have all 15 Candidates to sign and pledge your vote against Data centers in Chesapeake.
Again thank you for the tremendous response and we may have just helped Chesapeake stay a whole lot more like the Chesapeake Citizens love!
