As we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his tireless pursuit of equality, it is crucial that we stand together to protect the principles he held dear.
On this Martin Luther King Day, we bring your attention to #ACA7, a California Assembly Constitutional Amendment that threatens to undermine the state's commitment to equal treatment, as guaranteed by Proposition 209. Despite clear opposition from a majority of California voters in 2014 (#SCA5) and 2020 (#Prop16), ACA-7 seeks to reintroduce racial preferences in public education, public employment, and public contracting. It is imperative that we unite against this attempt to legalize state-sponsored racial discrimination.
As of September 2023, ACA-7 has passed the Assembly floor voting and is set for discussion and voting in the Senate Rules Committee in January 2024. Now, more than ever, we need your support to safeguard the timeless principle of equality. And we need you to be a messenger as well to make sure more people are aware of this fight so We the People can defeat the race obsessed far left CA legislators, one more time!
