Hi all

I just wanted to update you all on the decision made today by your local board regarding speed calming on Scenic Drive. 

The local board was on the end of project underspends which has allowed us the opportunity to commit $280,000 to speed calming on Scenic Drive. 

Design work will start in the next month followed by design and consultation with residents with scope to be delivered this year. 

I'd like to thank Marshal Wahlia for connecting the board to everyone which has lead to this in such a short time frame. This kind of result and turnaround is very uncommon but it shows what great advocacy and a proactive local board can unlock for the community. 

I will provide an update when designs are done at which time community consultation will start.
