The Issue

In recent years, transparency and accountability in corporate governance have become essential expectations. Adobe, long recognized for its innovation and leadership in creative industries, once set a strong example by publicly disclosing key Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) metrics. These included representation data across its workforce and board.

However, amid a growing wave of corporate retreats from DEI commitments given today's political landscape, Adobe has chosen to revise its annual filings and remove detailed reporting on racial, gender, and boardroom diversity. The company has scrubbed data on women and minority representation from its SEC filings and public reports, and discontinued sharing diversity metrics, such as racial background of board members, opting instead to forego DEI reporting amid shifting political and regulatory pressure. This quiet rollback marks a troubling shift away from the values it once championed and undermines Adobe’s standing as a model for inclusive and ethical leadership.

DEI transparency isn’t symbolic. It is a measurable signal of integrity, progress, and accountability. Regular disclosure of board and workforce demographics is vital in tracking a company’s commitment to meaningful representation. It allows stakeholders to assess how diversity informs corporate decision-making, shapes culture, and supports innovation. Adobe’s withdrawal from this reporting trend threatens to stall momentum for change and creates a gap in trust between the company and its community.

We call on Adobe to restore full transparency in its DEI reporting, including demographic data at both board and workforce levels. Reinstituting these disclosures would reaffirm Adobe’s commitment to equity and uphold its reputation as a forward-thinking, socially responsible company.

Please sign this petition to urge Adobe to stand by its values, reestablish public trust, and renew its commitment to building a truly inclusive organization.
