Our metro cities in India are sprawling relentlessly with ultra-modern gated communities with amenities from golf clubs to infinity pools. But these vast spaces have no room for pets to relax, play or socialize.
Total 1800 parks for HUMANS in Hyderabad and only ONE for dogs (i.e-located at Kondapur). In fact, that is the 1st and only designated dog park in India. Can you imagine !!!
That is why I started this online petition @change.org urging you all to please support my cause and sign the petition, here are some of the key pointers for your quick look.
1.At least one designated dog park in every circle in Greater Hyderabad Municipality Corporation (GHMC).
2. Every gated community project constructed over five acres of land should designate a space for dogs and other pets to play, interact and socialize.
3. Government of India's 'Smart Cities Mission' should include Mandatory Dog Parks as part of 'Green Infrastructure Criteria'.
