MOVE on This Deal is Over.
However we must continue to raise our voice, The Mayor persist and continues to resist and drag us into Ash Street 2 along with his developer supporters.

NO: This lease deal is about as sound as a screen door on a submarine. It’s yet another attempt by the city to add to its long list of real estate blunders, eroding taxpayers’ confidence in its ability to make sound decisions. The rent is above market rate, the shelter identification process raises eyebrows, the lease favors the landlord at the expense of taxpayers, contradicts the Community Action Plan on Homelessness, and the list goes on and on.
Next issue is the planning Group election.

The Uptown Community Planning Group is holding elections. Please tell everyone in your household, your neighbors and all those who live in the Uptown Communities (see map) to take a few minutes to save our communities! Our voices must matter!

TIP: Proof of residency in the Uptown district requires a document which has your name and address. A photo ID is not required. You can use a copy of your July SDG&E bill and that will be accepted. If you chose to use your driver's license, for security reasons, it is recommended you block out every and all information except for your pre printed name, address, and picture. (DOB, license number, or your signature should NOT be exposed).
