MONDAY, JULY 22
The KETTNER AND VINE PERMANENT MEGA SHELTER will be on the city council agenda
Mark your calendars and come fill the chamber to show city hall your opposition to the Kettner and Vine Mega Shelter. If we don't get a big crowd, then the council will swiftly push this project forward. Let's not give them an opportunity to quietly approve this failed project that is truly 101 Ash St redux.
Sean Elo-Rivera has announced the City Council will vote on the proposed lease for the Kettner and Vine Mega Shelter on July 22. (Details will follow once we have them. The city is only required to give 72-hours’ notice of its Council Hearing agenda). There will be group presentations so if you don’t wish to speak, we will need people to cede time to these presenters. Of course, you also are welcome and encouraged to speak.
Your attendance at the City Council meeting on Monday, July 22 is crucial to ensure our voices are heard loud and clear. The Kettner and Vine project must not be approved without our input. We can make a significant impact and influence outcomes. So please encourage everyone you know to come.
Let's push back the city council a fifth time so they will not be able to stealthy move this project to approval. We must show them that we're here, we're engaged, and we're not backing down. Join us and make a difference at this pivotal meeting.
Our voices must matter!
