Your support for age-appropriate shelving of books in Columbia County's Clark's Hill Regional Library and others is incredibly valuable! The petition you signed is a counter-petition to one started by a neighbor who wants to keep obscene and inappropriate books available to under-age readers. I know it sounds silly that an adult would want a child or minor (under the age of 18) to have easy eye-level access to books like Flamer and Lawn Boy. But also distributors are sending books to libraries like Me and My Dysphoria Monster which maybe should be shelved in a place where parents can get it and provide it to their child if they so choose.
