Maddie and Susan here...

We continue to be "on a mission with a petition" against the Schools Bill and Attendance Guidance.

Our petition against Attendance Guidance has never been more needed: we're seeing families punished with unfair fines, prosecution, withdrawal of part-time timetables, and exclusion from Attendance reward events.

This action disproportionately affects families with SEND and disabled children and other marginalised groups and is just plain WRONG.

This is where you might come in. We have too much to do and too little time as we manage our unpaid campaigning alongside day-to-day lives.

Would you like to get involved? We're looking for 1-3 people to join our dynamic duo and become an awesome team.

We're looking for: help with

- Social media sharing, posting and raising awareness of our campaign- Twitter particularly

- Writing petition updates to raise awareness of what is happening to families

- Working across your own local groups to understand what activity, and possibly coordinate and connect groups together - coming up and implementing new local actions that raise awareness and protect families

You don't need to be able to do all of the above, but you do need to be passionate about making a change in relation to Attendance Guidance, have some free time to volunteer, and want to get involved. If you want to have an initial chat - get in touch!
