Hi all,
Wonderful News! Our Sea Lion Has Been Released Back Into the Wild!
I’m overjoyed to share some wonderful news with everyone who has supported this petition!
The sea lion pictured in our petition has been released back into the wild today 10-29-26 after receiving wonderful care from CIMWI (Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute). She has healed and is now returning to the ocean where she belongs! 🦭🌊
A heartfelt thank-you to CIMWI for their compassion, dedication, and incredible work in rescuing, rehabilitating, and giving this beautiful sea lion a second chance at life.
To see her healthy and swimming free again is a beautiful reminder of why protecting our marine wildlife matters.
Thank you to everyone who signed and shared this petition. Your support means so much.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that every life matters, and together, we can make a difference.
Please continue to sign and share our petition as we work toward permanent marine wildlife protection signs and greater awareness throughout Channel Islands Harbor.
With gratitude,
Kimberly
