This ramped-up threat occurs even as Under Secretary General Cristina Gallach falsely claims on Twitter that Inner City Press has full access, while purporting to listen to detailed description of (her) exclusions of Inner City Press from covering even the Security Council. By contrast, Inner City Press now faces imminent eviction for seeking in late January to cover South South News' contributions to the UN Correspondents Association, which then gave a photo op with Ban Ki-moon to Ng Lap Seng. Today's UN prefers a corrupt media to an investigative one, and its lack of rules allows it to act on this.
