Overall, it went well & the auditorium was quite full. The commissioners redlined the original draft of the ordinances & have proposed 2 new zoning maps, with focus on AG-3 as seen in my last update. You can find both of those on Candler County’s Board of Commissioners’ Home page on their website.

Regarding chickens, the main speaker stated there is a “grandfather clause” in section 801 of the proposed ordinance, though those words do not appear specifically. It is actually pretty difficult to understand & I hope we get more clarification on that issue.
