Grace Mugabe acquired a PhD in sociology at the University of Zimbabwe in 3 months which normally take between 3 - 5 years to complete. The university succumbed to political pressure that saw awarding the former first lady a doctorate she never read for.

Now that Grace's husband, former president of Zimbabwe,  R G Mugabe is gone. The University must revoke her PhD as a step towards restoring the credibility and reputation of the university.
