Urgent action for monkeys before Board of Regents meeting
Nov 5, 2014 — Greetings everyone!
On Thursday morning, November 6th, University of Wisconsin's Board of Regents is meeting in Madison. A protest is being organized outside of the building.
Here are the details: https://www.facebook.com/events/402776359872534/
I know so many supporters around the world cannot make it, and for those of you who live too far, here are two actions that you can take to help the baby monkeys. I thank you in advance for being polite in expressing your concerns.
1) If you are on Twitter, please click to share. http://ctt.ec/417AU
2) Please make a POLITE call to individuals listed below who are affiliated with the UW board:
Jane Radue (Executive Director), 608-262-2324
Michael J. Falbo (President) 414-202-3817
You might say something like "My name is <insert your name>. I am calling to request that the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents stop the unnecessary and cruel experiments on the baby monkeys. You can take action this Thursday during your meetings. There are better ways for the university to help patients than this unethical research which is giving your entire school system a terrible reputation."
When making calls, you must be extremely civil and kind, but please do it for the monkeys! They need our voice!
