Too many shelters make the unfortunate decision to put down the animals that they are unable to find homes for. No-kill shelters promise to not partake in this heinous act. Some people don't have the knowledge that no-kill shelters exist, so they continue to support these locations unknowingly. By creating a public fund in order to turn all shelters in Austin to follow no-kill practices, we can protect the lives and rights of furry friends who are just trying to find nice homes.
