USI Feral Cat TNR Program

USI Feral Cat TNR Program
The Issue
The University of Southern Indiana has several feral cats that reside on campus. The goal of this petition is to show student support for initiating a TNR (Trap. Neuter. Release.) program. A TNR program will help reduce the feral cat population on campus by preventing reproduction, and it will also help prevent the spread of diseases through vaccinations. Traps can be provided through Vanderburgh Humane Society, which will also provide the neutering and vaccination services for USI's community cats. This solution will help manage the feral/community cat population in a humane way.
This petition offers a chance for students to show USI administrators and staff that they are passionate about the way the feral cat population on campus is handled. We need student signatures to show that there is overwhelming support for the humane management of our feral cat population.
