Dear Supporters, We are delighted to have heard this morning that Southampton University have CANCELLED their anti-Israel conference! While their official statement cites safety concerns regarding public protests, there is no doubt that the weeks of negative publicity played a role in their considerations. Much of the coverage has cited this petition as evidence of the widespread anger that Israel, of all the countries in the world, was once again being singled out. Without the hard work of all the many groups and individuals who have campaigned to raise awareness about this biased kangaroo court, it would still be going ahead.
