Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition, wrote letters and emails, attended our first protest, and more. Although USF admin have continuously refused to rescind the RFI, our pressure has likely resulted in a small victory. USF Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, David Lechner who is responsible for the RFI is “retiring” early from his position. We would like to think the backlash from the RFI helped that decision.

However, until USF President, Steven Currall not only rescinds the RFI, but also commits to long term conservation of the preserve, our mission is not over.
