Almost 500!!!

Thank you everyone, we are almost to 500 signatures! I have talked to some of the educators that work at the planetarium, and all of your comments mean a lot to them, and are helping them get through this difficult time. A note on the 500 signature goal: Change.org automatically sets the goal for petitions, and increases it automatically as well whenever the signature count gets close to that goal. For everyone asking if they can do more to help out the cause: If you are a USF student, there is a petition going around on campus. There are other students with clipboards, so if you see them, sign that petition as well. If you are USF alum, please contact the USF Office of Alumni Relations, and express your feelings on the planetarium closure. If you are the parent of a child who has visited the planetarium on a field trip, maybe try contacting their teacher, their principal, or the school board. We are hoping to get support from some of the schools or school districts that have visited the planetarium. For everyone else (especially those of you in the greater Fort Wayne area), contact USF directly and tell them that you do not want the planetarium to close. Thank you again everyone! The more community support we can get, the more likely it will be that we can save the planetarium!
