Two days ago, President Seligman held a town hall. Although he backed away from some of the language in his press release, he made additional comments that were dismissive of student concerns and fell short of the University's moral obligations. In particular, President Seligman pledged that an outside investigator would examine claims of retaliation against those who reported Florian Jaeger's conduct, but would not reopen the investigation into Florian Jaeger himself.[1] Let me repeat that: Not only is Seligman not firing Jaeger; Seligman is refusing to even investigate whether Jaeger should be fired.
Both prior to and in the wake of Seligman's town hall, several groups of alumni independently began drafting their own responses. A collaborative effort has produced the following list of updated demands, combined with a pledge not to donate until the University has made things right:

In addition to adding your name, we strongly urge you to individually contact school administrators to let them know that you stand by this pledge, and that you stand in solidarity with ongoing student protests, which now include a hunger strike.[2] Individual messages and phone calls in particular are hard to ignore. The above link includes University contact information, and a sample call script.
