Onward for animals!

Happy New Year animal allies! I can hardly believe it was only three months ago that I started this petition urging my university to divest from Roark Capital’s animal cruelty. In such little time, the petition has received over 119 thousand signatures, we had a full page ad and an op-ed published in The Michigan Daily, and students have been taking countless actions on campus to build support for the campaign! It’s really disappointing that the university has remained silent when over 119,000 people have signed a student’s petition urging action on the issue.
