Election 2017: University Debate open for all
0 have signed. Let’s get to 5,000!
The University of Malta boasts of having over 10,000 students, yet it has allocated a hall which can host a maximum of 800 students for a debate that is keenly awaited.
Usually, students are told that Sir Temi Zammit Hall is the biggest one on campus. This year, the organisers have an advantage. The election in being held in Spring/Summer and the organisers can easily shift the debate to an outside space on campus with no risks of cancellation due to adverse weather.
This call for a change in venue becomes more valid with the leaked chats published on The Insiter held by those taking care of allocating seats to students.
We want a fair debate. We want that all students are allowed to follow the debate and ask all leaders questions.
