Hull University lecturers are set to strike on the 22nd of February and this may be on going if the University do not come to an agreement. It is totally understandable that lecturers are striking and we should support their decision. However we as students pay £9000 a year and some more than that, therefore we are entitled to compensation if lectures are cancelled as we are the ones who will suffer. The monetary value of the compensation should also increase with the duration of the strike.
