The research team of Spectrum 10k have successfully heard the voices of autistic people and charities and have postponed the study until further consultation and discussion has been carried out which will involve the voices of autistic people. This is a victory for us as hopefully we can work on ensuring the DNA part of the study is not used and we can focus on research that seeks to make our lives better. Many thanks to all of the people who supported and signed the petition. If the revised study still has the potential to cause harm, we will keep the fight going. Happy days.
