Cambridge University must expel the student who burnt a £20 note in front of homeless man

The Issue

Ronald Coyne, a Conservative undergraduate at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, was widely reported (for example, here,  here, and here) as setting light to a £20 note to taunt a homeless man who was sleeping rough on a cold winter night in Cambridge.

Cambridge University is a tax-exempt registered charity that receives funding from the British government. It is a public body that is required to uphold the public good. We call on it to expel this student with immediate effect.
