Thank you all for all your support, but it is NOT enough!
A special request for those of you in Ireland. Please look at the Call to Action below. We need ONLY ONE COUNTRY to have their UN Representative call for an IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY meeting of the General Assembly AND Security Council of the UN to get this on the table! Think you can do it? For the rest of you please try as well, and PLEASE read the Call to Action below.
Time is running out for the people of Gaza, and we ask you to take 20 minutes out of your busy schedule and read the Call to Action, post it on all social media platforms, and if you work with any organizations, PLEASE send the Call to Action the leadership of those organizations, and if you can give it personally to them. If you have ANY close ties with any politicians who are also opposed to this genocide, please get it to them too! There is NO group to join, no endorsements asked for, we are all in this together, and with every individual thinking how we can get the Call to Action out and doing it, we CAN stop the embargo on food and medicine into Gaza and stop the killing of civilians.
In peace and solidarity,
Eric Rubin

A step-by-step plan and timeline to stop the genocide in Gaza and to open all Aid Routes within 72 HOURS
This is a Global Call to Action
Have ANY United Nations member country call for an emergency joint meeting of the Security Council and General Assembly to immediately enact Article 42 of the UN Charter. Do YOU know anyone in your government that opposes the genocide in Gaza? Have them immediately help to make it happen!
1. When the Call by the first country for a joint UN emergency meeting happens, ALL “picket-lines” begin globally at the shipping Ports and Israeli embassies worldwide. Put direct pressure on all countries to initiate an immediate vote for the emergency meeting and vote for this resolution.
There will be only one demand, “UN General Assembly Enact Article 42 now! Send armed UN PEACEKEEPERS into Gaza and the Occupied Territories immediately”.
2. Leading up to and until the close of the Emergency Joint meeting of the General Assembly and the Security Council: “picket-lines” continue at the shipping Ports and Israeli embassies worldwide. Again, only one single demand: “UN General Assembly Enact Article 42 now! Send armed UN PEACEKEEPERS into Gaza and the Occupied Territories immediately”.
According to UN rules there must be a unanimous vote by the Security Council to enact Article 42. We have been told that it can’t be changed. NOT TRUE! Article 109 of the UN Charter states that a 2/3 majority of the General Assembly is needed. However, Article 109 has been a grey area for years and most probably will be disputed.
And here is the kicker! The US has and will try to use its veto power in the Security Council to stop the process that will allow the GA to vote on Article 42. The General Assembly will then face an unprecedented choice: Do they docilly sit by allowing Israel to complete the extermination of the people of Gaza, OR do they do their job according to the mandate of the UN and the voices of the majority of their own constituents…. and enact Article 42 immediately?
Here is the deciding moment:
If Article 42 IS NOT passed because of the US veto or any other reason step 3:
If Article 42 IS passed unencumbered by process, we move on to step 4.
3. The picket-lines are fortified with a modified demand: “UN General Assembly override the US veto now! Enact Article 42 now with a 2/3 majority! Send armed UN PEACEKEEPERS into Gaza and the Occupied Territories immediately”
When Article 42 is passed, The UN Resolution will clearly state:
· UN Peacekeepers (and all countries willing to assist the UN Peacekeepers utilizing air, sea and ground support under UN leadership), will be tasked immediately to stop the slaughter and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the Occupied Territories by the Israeli occupying forces!
· All aid routes (by land, air, and sea) to be opened immediately, and protected by UN troops. All humanitarian aid will be delivered and distributed by UNRWA and any additional sources that they choose. No Israeli or US intervention or private contractors.
4. Once the Resolution is passed, the picket-lines must grow even stronger and raise a new demand globally as the countdown begins. “Within 48 hours UN troops must be on the ground, in the air, and on the sea in Palestine! No more military action by Israel against Gaza. UNRWA in Gaza and ALL aid routes open and protected by UN Peacekeepers! US/Israeli contractors out of Gaza now! Swift military retaliation for any Israeli attacks on civilians or UN troops”.
All picket-lines in all participating countries supporting the end to the genocide focusing on their government to “Send additional troops, planes, ships, and any other necessary armaments to halt the Israeli genocide from the air, land, or sea in both Gaza and the Occupied Territories”. Demand that this happens within 24 hours.
All actions will continue until Isreal ceases all aggression against the Palestinian people. If Israel launches attacks from anywhere against the people of Palestine, the UN Peacekeepers will be mandated to retaliate appropriately to neutralize the threat.
Recognize that although the UN Peacekeepers are immediate and necessary, they in fact will constitute an occupying army as well. The Peacekeepers have a responsibility to treat all people and groups in Palestine and Gaza who have, are, and will be fighting against the Israeli occupation as organizations representing the people of Gaza and in no way, military or politically target them as “enemy combatants”
That’s it. Let’s get moving, every minute wasted is more innocent Palestinian people dying or injured.
