While we are waiting for the metric system to become mainstream in the United States, take this time to begin converting your mind into the metric system. Start Measuring in centimetres and meters instead of inches and feet. Begin taking time to remember how large a 2 Liter Bottle is, among many other metric units of measurement. What I'm generally saying is to begin converting to metric in your own home, and if you want to, even learn how much 1 meter is in feet, or what 35 miles per hour is in kilometres, and most importantly, be prepared.
