Currently there are plans to build a large open pit copper mine in the state of Arizona that happens to be home to El Jeffe a jaguar. Building this mine will likely displace El Jeffe. We need the USFWS to go along with their own scientists and stop this project. Local activist Bugbee and Neil's, as documented in a Smithsonian article are fighting to make this happen.
