First off, let me start off with this: Thank you so much for getting the petition over 100,000!! That is an incredible accomplishment. It is because all of you that we have made it this far, and turned the Wayne problem into such a heavily supported cause. All of your support is appreciated by myself, the locals who will be affected by the fracking, and all the groups and concerned people fighting for this cause simply because it is the right thing to do. There was a meeting yesterday in Columbus regarding the National Forest. We livestreamed it on the newly combined Facebook pages, which I will link at the end of this update. We met and made plans for the future, and we have many groups working with us to help our cause. The support is overwhelming! There are still veterans giving their help to the cause as well. Having them is incredibly lucky of us, and their help will push saving the forest even more. Things you can do: If you live in Ohio, call and write letters to our representatives! They do listen and sending so many letters and voicemails CAN make a difference and help our cause. If you don't live in Ohio, contact the United Forest Service and do the same. Write letters. Call. Tell them you do not consent. Help us help the forest! Finally, this is a poster I designed myself. I humbly ask if any of our signers could print the page off and spread it around. Share it with your friends, families, local groups, even schools in your area. There are so many colleges and college students that want to get more involved in environmental activism; them seeing that poster is a way they can! We can stop further auctions of more land in the Wayne, and we can convince the Forest Service to pull the lands so even though they were sold, the fracking will not go through.
