Something we haven't mentioned much is the baby sheep brought every year to Babby Farms. Supposedly weaned, they're as young as 24 hours old. This year (and every year) we had a baby sheep drop dead in the petting zoo in front of customers.
Why?
Malnutrition combined with acidophilus and inbreeding. Ecoli would be found in them as well. Milk pellets are few and far between, they start their lives being taken from mom too early and slowly killed.
Goats too.
This year one was euthanized as well.
Why is this tolerated?
Who has the right to make these choices for these animals?
Who will speak up with me for them.
Our total count of 55+ dead animals cannot individually get an accurate amount of dead baby sheep and goats. We guessed at least 10 a year...
This year one goat was trampled by a zorse because the pens for them are too big.
Who isn't disgusted by this????
I am appalled. I unloaded a trailer of baby animals and half of them died.
Phil the wonder goat.
Baby sheep.
Baby goats.
We failed you. Babby Farms failed you.
You had short painful hungry lives while hundreds of people pet you a week.
I am ashamed.
Thats why I'm making it right now.
Who will stand with me? We need your help!
