Petition updateHelp us shut down Babby Farms in Caldwell IdahoRUBY THE iconic Babby Farms kangaroo

Ruby the 4 year old kangaroo was born with some disabilities, she is beloved by all!
Shes partially/mostly blind, very small and red, the color of a traditional male. She is battling a chronic pouch infection from constant stress from being in the petting zoo and would scratch aggressively at her pouch indicating she was over stimulated or stressed.
When we tried to shut down the kangaroo pen in the petting zoo for her stress for an hour, we would be told by management to open it back up for the public. "she'll be fine, people wanna see Ruby."
She is a Babby Farms icon.
Everyone. I mean everyone. Loves. Ruby.
We used to joke in a zombie apocalypse, it was #saveruby and we would all rush to the farm to save her from the zombies!

But who's going to save her from this life?

I have to tell you that its hot as hades in the summer there, there are no trees around and its all bare dirt and a few scattered weeds and hundreds of goat heads we constantly picked out of her feet and dug/pulled up. No grass. Nothing soft for her but a barn of straw, even in 100° weather. No cool grass to lay on. Nothing but hard dirt or inside a hot barn. Her pouch frequently is neglected for treatment due to sheer understaffed and busy conditions the heat aggravates it as well. She frequently runs into things and has bloody noses. Jack the neutered male kept with her in the petting zoo bullies her, hits her and walks over her legs and tail.

She lives inside during the winter which is the picture you see. (This picture was taken in august when she was sick and we were decently staffed) Approx measurements of her cage are 12x15? ( a VERY GENEROUS GUESS) While some staff kept it as clean and dry as possible, on their days off she truly always has a filthy cage. You can see behind her the drag marks through her pee and poop. It's cold bare concrete with either some small amount of hay/straw and a blanket. By winter I mean #Babbyfarms off season. October through May. 7 months shes in there. And any time she's sick which is A LOT. So more than 7 months a year spent there...
In NONE of my posts have I said Babby Farms doesn't "care" about their animals.
But.
My cats live in better conditions than this.
If this is "care" it is the VERY bare minimum.
I just have to ask... of you love Ruby, don't you want better for her?
Don't you want her little toes were buried in grass and not goat heads?
I don't know if I've ever seen her touch grass in the 3 years as a customer and the season as an employee.
I'm not saying there's not any "care" I'm saying this is NOT the care of a facility looking out for Ruby's well being first.
Ruby may very well never touch grass her entire life.
And that's not ok with ME.
AND IT SHOULDN'T BE FOR RUBY.
Not for one minute.
Ya'll have been out there. The room is there. There is even a massive back pasture not utilized.
So I ask again.
"How many is too many?"
How many signatures before you change your ways?
How many ex employees need to say it's a toxic and horrible place for those animals.
How many animals will die while we fight for them?
While Babbys stance is to stand strong, the voices of 130 + animals are disregarded.
Who is listening to Ruby?
Where is her voice in this?
Don't believe it yet?
Ask Ruby!
This isn't a life. It's a life long prison sentence.
