The Issue

Take Jenna's Ditch Dairy Pledge

Jenna was born on a dairy farm but was determined to be infertile as the result of being a Freemartin calf (a girl born with a twin brother results in infertility).  Because she was unable to have babies, Jenna could never produce milk.  And as a result, the farmer intended to shoot her and her brother.  Thanks to the compassionate daughter of the dairy farmer, Jenna and her brother were allowed to go to sanctuaries.  The daughter's name was Jenna and because she had saved the two cows' lives, Jenna the Calf who Lived was named after her.

DITCH DAIRY FOR JENNA! Every day thousands of calves Jenna's age (a few months old) will die because they are seen as useless to the dairy industry for being male or for being infertile like Jenna. But their worth should not be determined by the amount of profit they can make a farmer. They are living beings, not mere means of production. Pledge to ditch dairy and take a stand against an industry built on destroying families and enslaving mothers as simply milk machines for human use. They are not our moms, it is not our milk! She truly is Jenna the Calf who Lived, because so few calves like her do survive the dairy industry.

So take a stand by refusing to support the dairy industry with your dollars.  It is all about supply and demand.  If we stop paying for this to happen, the dairy industry will stop abusing these animals.
