On July 22, a unanimous vote was called for on the Senate floor on the Juneteenth Naltion Holiday legislation. It received 99 YES votes and only 1 NO from Senator Ron Johnson R-Wisc. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/juneteenth-federal-holiday-johnson_n_5f18b199c5b6f2f6c9f0f077

This has stopped the progress for now, but it is not too late. Senator Johnson can change his vote and then it will move on to the House of Representatives. He needs to hear you even if you are not from Wisconsin because he is affecting the voices of all of us in support of the bill.

Ms. Opal has a personal message to Senator Johnson and would like to talk with him about why he voted NO. You can help by sharing her request for a conversation by posting and sharing her video.
