Change.org supporters, we've learned that passage of the Juneteenth legislation in the Senate is being held by Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson by an amendment for funding (see story https://www.nationalreview.com/news/gop-senators-propose-scrapping-columbus-day-adding-juneteenth-federal-holiday/ Sentaor Lankford removed his request for the amendment, but Johnson still remains.

Wisconsin supporters, please contact his office on Monday, 7/6/2020 and let him hear from his constituents that he should support the Juneteenth legislation without any amendments so that it can move through the bill process and become law. It's important that Wisconsin residents reach out to him because you are the ones he promised to listen to and represent your interests.
