Once again, thanks to all who signed this petition, including the little girl  who must be 16 by now.  Despite massive effort, we simply can't get anyone iin Congress to pay attention to this issue.  Regardless of political affiliation, nobody who is in a positiion to effectuate this change is responsive. I cannot get the media to get involved, nor lobbying groups. I guess the pull of Big Pharma is simply too great.

HOWEVER, I REFUSE TO GIVE UP!  The political season is once again upon us, and I am hoping to use that to our advantage.  Particularly, presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (D. Vt.) has been the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee responsible for Medicare, and despite many telephone calls and emails he has been completely unresponsive to this issue.  He should be called out for his obvious hyoocrisy.  This issue should be brought front and center to the political stage as the 2020 political season gears up.  I am requestiing that anyone who has signed this petitiion please contact their senators and representatives as well as all of the potential presidential candidates (and President Trump, as it seems he will have no challengers) and try to force them to address this issue.
