It's easier to lick Russia out o f the UN than set up a new organisation. The UN law is in place, embedded in every country's domestic law.
It's a lot better structured than the chaos of NATO. If Russia was kicked out, it can act within 24 hours.
So why do we hear everywhere "the post war order” is “gone”.
It is not “gone” — it is a binding treaty between all* the governments of the world, and part of every member country’s domestic law. It's been hijacked
It’s not the “post war order”. The war did not create order. It is the United Nations order — including the human rights we take for granted — such as our right to govern our own countries.
Who is saying this? Are we the people saying it? Do we want to throw away our human rights? These new proposed organisations are not proposing to include universal human rights. Who is driving this move to ignore, undermine and destroy the world order of human rights and the rule of law?
The EU has its own entrenched human rights regime, which is guaranteed because the EU does not have one King - unlike America and Russia.
But it is the regions that don't have human rights that are threatening others. America. Russia.
If we choose to ignore this, our rights will be gone.
We need to force our governments to take back the UN
They are running a dangerous game rejecting the rest of the world, it will lead to conflict. What will Africa do if deprived a voice in the UN?
Their alternative is then to expand BRICS.
Do you really trust the people that create the poor, that create misery, That are driving these wars and not fixing them, to create a world order that you would want?
If an institution is taken over by corruption, we need to get rid of the corruption. Not get rid of the institution.
It seems we have returned to the world of kings, boyars and serfs.
If we do nothing, we deserve it.
