It has become even more urgent to stop the horror since Trump is supporting Putin and exploiting a victim. That highlights one of the points made in the petition.

Please continue to share and get others to promote this, everywhere you can think of. Half of the purpose this petition is to raise awareness.  It must overcome 34 years of Kremlin propaganda that "it can't be done", "it will never happen" and "the UN is useless".

Collective action and unity of our elected governments through the UN is the only way we can hope to restore peace and security for all countries, and stop economic, military and cyber aggression turning the world into a gangland.

Europe cannot hope for long term security while Putin is controlling the UN.  Europe needs support from the rest of the world. And the reverse.

Removing Putin's power will remove his ability to influence and impress Trump, and perhaps educate Trump that breaking international law is not such a good idea.
