Thank you for your support for http://chng.it/QJp8yJ6hPs; 100 short of 2,500 signatures. Self-determination is coming! We must be prepared!

The Nigeria government knows exactly what the Yoruba want. The whole world knows exactly what the Yoruba want (http://chng.it/QJp8yJ6hPs Our many voices daily tell them: ‘#OduduwaRepublicNow’! We do not need a leader or a special political organisation to achieve self-determination. UNGA resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960 is very clear: ‘Inadequacy of political, economic, social or educational preparedness should never serve as a pretext for delaying independence.’ We do not need a referendum.

Any of the larger umbrella Yoruba organisations (eg ilanaomooodua, Eminent Elders Forum) must now publicly volunteer to take up the mantle and, if no legitimate objections are raised, do as follows: 1. Officially inform the Nigeria government of our intention/date (29 September 2021) to become the independent state of Oduduwa Republic. 2. Officially inform AU, ECOWAS and UNSC of our intention/date to leave Nigeria. 3. Convene a self-determination 'negotiator committee'. 4. Set up an interim Oduduwa Republic Account into which people could donate; initially to be offshore to prevent Nigeria government’s access to the account.

The ‘negotiator committee’ must comprise of representatives of each of the Oba, farmers, trado-medicine, orthodox medicine, market women, housewives, elders, youths, lawyers, judges, engineers, ITechs, architects, teachers, bankers, lecturers, police, military, diaspora etc. Terms of reference of committee: 1. Invite submissions on a constitution and prepare and publish draft for a plebiscite. 2. Negotiate ‘divorce’ terms as necessary or required with Nigeria, UN, AU and ECOWAS etc. 3. Appoint an ‘interim administrator’ from volunteer applicants to take over from the published ‘date of separation’ (ie 29 September 2021) regardless of response from Nigeria.

The ‘interim administrator’ will ‘govern’ for the first 6 months of existence of the Oduduwa Republic (ie from 29 September 2021). The terms of reference for the administrator is to establish the organs of state - internal security (Amotekun militia), external security (Oduduwa Defence Forces), justice, education, health, local government etc in preparation for new government as determined by the draft constitution.

Senators/assemblymen/governors/politicians represent their political parties; they do not represent us and must be excluded from participation and negotiations.
