Resistors to the balkanisation of Nigeria will fail.

No one says there should be no opposition to the call for Oduduwa Republic, but people like Wale Alonge suffer from an extra-ordinary level of self-loathing, lack of self-esteem and dysfunctional intellect. Here is a man who puts the interest of others above his own people’s interest. A man who identifies Nigeria as a failed state but remains content with the status quo.
 
He says that the Mali and Ghana Empires were territorially more significant than the Yoruba Empire. He is quite simply ignorant. Unlike the Yoruba Empire, Mali and Ghana were in areas with little population and no forests. The Yoruba Empire was a marvel, worth emulating and studying today, because despite its size, and its West Africa reach, it was achieved without a single drop of blood shed. There were no wars on Yoruba soil until the 1800s when the Europeans came and fermented troubles.
 
The Soviet Union was forced to dissolve despite its military might. Nigeria is not more powerful than the Soviet Union was. No part of Nigeria will be forced into our Oduduwa Republic if it is not their wish. The Edo have the right to remain in Nigeria or to form a nation of their own. Many UN members have less than 1 million population. Nigeria currently is glued together by southerners who support ‘one Nigeria’. The day they withdraw their support is the day Nigeria collapses like a pack of cards. But they continue to support ‘one Nigeria’ only for their own selfish ambitions.
 
Yoruba cowards example Syria as UN failure. Where is the failure? The Kurds have left Syria!  Yoruba cowards example Ethiopia as UN failure. Where is the failure? Ethiopia was long at war before the UN stepped in to broker the peace. Balkanisation -v- multi-fronted civil wars? The western powers will choose balkanisation all day long. Our job as the derided ‘brilliant minds’ is to take our message to the peoples of western nations who are ignorant that Fulani savages are orphaning our children, raping our women and destroying our farms.
 
It was the insistence of the UN that got the different peoples of the Soviet Union their republics. It was the persistence of the UN that got the peoples of the Yugoslavia their independent nations, and memberships of the EU. The Yoruba are more than capable of holding their own in Africa and in the world. Help us get a homeland of our own.
