Insecurity is everywhere. Poverty and hunger are everywhere. The Buhari presidency has lost control, and there are still 3 years of that presidency to go. There is no unity of purpose between the different regions. There is a distinct possibility that Nigeria will collapse into violent chaos in the next months. That is not good for Africa and not good for the world.
Nigeria's politicians pin their hopes on what they call ‘restructuring’ but have no idea what it means or how to achieve it. Rearranging deck chairs on the sinking Nigeria ship will not satisfy the aspirations of Yoruba, Biafra, Delta and Middlebelt peoples. We pray that in 2021, the UN and US facilitate peaceful dissolution of Nigeria as they did for the Soviet Union in 1991.
