U.S. says audio recording of Khashoggi killing does not implicate Saudi crown prince The Washington Post article reveals in an article.

"U.S. national security adviser John Bolton said Tuesday that an audio recording of journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s death inside an Istanbul consulate did not appear to provide any link between the killers and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman."

This statement is released after Bolton claimed he'd not even heard the tape. He goes on to say he trusts the word of White House associates who have listened to the murder tape.

"Recordings of the Oct. 2 operation, carried out by a 15-man hit squad inside Istanbul’s Saudi consulate, have been shared with Western intelligence officials. The office of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday that transcripts of the audio have also been shared with the agencies."

Western diplomats and Turkish officials say that it would be difficult to carry out such an operation without the approval of Mohammed, the kingdom’s de facto ruler. At least one member of the Saudi hit squad has previously served as his bodyguard.

This statement by John Bolton is almost unbelievable and extremely cold-blooded. A writer, a father, friend to many and a U.S. person was mutilated, dismembered and murdered and this is what the White House has to say about it? What kind of world are we living in when Trump's White House condones these kinds of horrors?
