On the 18th of May 2018, it was put into action that many websites were blocked within the UAE in order to "protect children" from the contents within. Although this is perhaps logical within certain games and circumstances, many games had been blocked without an actual purpose, leaving many people who enjoy these games - myself included - unable to gain any access towards these games,and therefore lose not only progress but creations, friendships and invested time and money into the game.

ROBLOX is a game like no other, played and enjoyed by many youngsters in all ages to engage in a colorful variety of fun and various different worlds and games, unique in its interactive and gorgeous play-styles, and is hailed as one of the greatest next level future developed games by many critics. However, this wasn't the case for UAE's authorities, claiming that the game was potentially harmful to youth.

This led to the UAE's attorney general to reinstate and ban ROBLOX, causing a catastrophic toll on the country's gaming community, still reeling from the blow.

With the new rule being applied to the games and sites, the decision was met a flurry of nothing but disapproval from the community, and hundreds of videos on YouTube expressing their genuine disappointment of the new regulations.

• ROBLOX offers its users nothing but an endless opportunity to create and flourish the site with new innovative ideas and game creations, diversifying and joining a total whopping number of almost 60 million users playing monthly,and racking up to a behemoth of almost 180 million users in total.

• Although with the recent claims on ROBLOX "forming the youth to destroy society" , the game is heavily regulated with several rules and strict secure monitoring systems that can moderate the chatting systems ingame to website chat/games itself, with very strong and stern punishments to offenders and rule-breakers, with a report system that ensures the person to be almost instantly penalized for the action.
• No harrassing,no bullying,hassle free!
• Likewise, ROBLOX is also very kid friendly, with even guided parental control that can be set alongside the settings, whilst the addition of account protection to both <13 and above to have various options on the account;- such to be as disabling chat features, messaging, and following in game prohibition. Nonetheless to this, take note that most games are designed to be family friendly, and suitably soothing and appealing to children and kids,and sometimes even parents joining in to play the game.

• The game does not encourage gambling, reversed to the point that they actually outlawed gambling/vices into the game, because ROBLOX inherently cares about its users and community, and in under no circumstance has there been a chance of suicide, nor has anything related to suicide,murder or any real life vice has been commited after playing the game, assuringly.

Conclusive to the situation, many of the games that the attorney general has chosen unanimously to block is very much needed and actually supports the youth to prevent the perilous risk of losing an arm or an leg;- or even a life, but in this case, ROBLOX does not condone and tolerate these twisted and gruesome behaviors and makes sure to monitor the site securely for any incident such to happen like this. As speaking of behalf of the entire ROBLOX community of the UAE, we whole heartedly know that ROBLOX is not a road block, but a block further to power imagination.
